About Us
Who We Are
Our chapter serves the vibrant and creative communities in 12 counties of the West Coast of Florida.
We currently sponsor three beautiful jewelry studios here in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. The Morean Arts Center, ArtCenter Manatee and the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Through our partnership with these organizations, we provide tooling and equipment, studio design consultation and stewardship of the jewelry arts program. Jewelry makers and metalsmiths of all skill levels enjoy learning and teaching in a safe, supportive environments and state-of-the-art studios we help to maintain.
OUR MISSION
The Florida Society of Goldsmiths is a nonprofit organization for all makers dedicated to education, the support of metalsmiths and the promotion of art jewelry.
We provide workshops, mountain retreats and an open exchange of information. All members are welcome, regardless of physical location.
